New Hope Worship Center

Church · Augusta, GA · Planning engagement, no website

Five working sessions that turned a full calendar and an overloaded staff into one 2027 plan the whole team can carry: one priority, one filter for every decision, and a wave model instead of a flat year.

Two one-page documents from the New Hope 2027 plan side by side: the 2027 Priorities sheet and the What We Have Built So Far summary.
Two of the eight documents: the priorities sheet and the summary of what the five sessions produced.

Five working sessions. One plan the whole staff can carry.

Where they started

A full calendar and a growing church, with many events that had no clear owner and a staff carrying more than it could hand off.

The decision

The real problem was a handoff gap, not a people problem. So the plan was built as journeys, not a calendar: one priority, the first-time experience through to integration, one filter for every decision, Connect, Grow, or Give, and a wave model instead of a flat year.

What got built

  • The 2027 theme and six priorities, each with an owner line.
  • A handoff system for the staff and a rule for delegating.
  • Eight finished documents: identity page, priorities, a vision-flow diagram, a story timeline back to 1914, a communications plan, the 52-event calendar, a wave planning template, and a calendar load analysis.
  • A staff-day deck and facilitator notes to carry it to the team.

Measured so far

Not applicable yet. The plan runs in 2027.

Why it is here
